Follow my journey here as I venture from France across the entirety of northern Spain on a medieval pilgrimage.
I’m not particularly religious – I feel we could just as likely be simulations, or under the control of a giant squid-like creature somewhere in space, as the creations of God. Agnostic, I think? Nonetheless I’m approaching this adventure with an open mind, and do plan on lighting some candles in the big churches to honour my more religious (late) Irish grandparents.
Am posting updates at every stop on the link above – especially where there’s Estrella Galicia on tap.
As I post this here it’s only the end of day 2 and my feet are already morphing into bloodied stumps. Only 30 days left! If you read this, send me some kind of foot-based inspirational quote?
P.S. Typos probably, because I am half dead after the walking. It’s gonna be that typ-o blog or I’ll become obsessive with editing and never post anything
